HERE AND NOW

The Abbey Theatre - Nuneaton

April 2023, 4 performances

Liv is free falling into oblivion struggling to work out what is truly important to her. An unexpected phone call causes her reality to fracture sending her into a kaleidoscopic exploration of her family and humanities past present and future. When all is Lost how do we find our way back?

β€œIn 2021 I found myself dropped into a world that I could barely make sense of. I felt lost to my core, I wondered if maybe humanity had also wandered off course, into a dangerous existence of fear and anxiety. I examined human history, searching for other moments where we lost our way. I take comfort in the fact that we as humanity do get lost but we always find our way back. Moments of connection help us find our way, be that a group of friends celebrating on New Years Eve or the love between a Grandfather and his Granddaughter. These moments make us human. Here and Now is the culmination of exploring what makes us feel lost and celebrating what makes us feel found.” - Jacob Whitehorn, Artistic Director
