When unnerving visions of his past threaten to consume Alex he must go on a journey of self discovery to find hope lost long ago. In this vivid new production containing stories of ancient myths passed down through human history, searing visions of the future and a battle for survival Dauntless Evolution use a whirlwind of movement, song and bold visuals to ask the question when the future is so uncertain what can we truly rely on? 

‘ODYSSEY’ was especially developed for Creative Explorers in partnership with GRIT Collective, supported by Nuneaton & Bedworth borough council, and Arts Council England.

For a year leading up to the creation phase the Dauntless team engaged with local schools and colleges across Nuneaton, conducting workshops introducing our practice to local young people and discovering what is important to the town’s future generations. These conversations and experiences formed the basis for the show.
